In honor of the World Series, I wanted to post one of my most unique and fun engagement sessions. John and Robin’s Durham Bulls engagement session was captured at the stadium in Durham, North Carolina.
The Durham Bulls
The Durham Bulls are an awesome minor league baseball team in Durham, North Carolina. When I lived near Durham, I would often go downtown and walk around the Historic Tobacco district next to the stadium, or take in an occasional game. When Robin contacted me to take photos there, I eagerly accepted!
John & Robin
John and Robin are a sweet couple in the Research Triangle Park area. Both lovers of baseball, finding a venue for their engagement session was not difficult.
Robin coordinated the shoot with the staff at the Durham Bulls, who accept and schedule shoots frequently.
Robin, a huge Tarheel fan and John an avid Gamecocks fan, they are able to find common ground in their relationship and look past their opposing teams.
The Engagement Session
The weather was perfect as we arrived. The staff of the Durham Bulls were so kind and attentive; they made sure our experience was perfect. We quickly found some beautiful spots for shots and everything came together perfectly.
John and Robin were clearly so in love as they easily engaged, nuzzled and loved on each other during the shoot. Their love for each other was evident and sweet.
Thank you Robin and John for letting me be a part of your exciting and adventurous engagement session. I can’t say as I’ve had one quite as adventurous to date!
