Eric & Camry’s New Bern wedding was a beautiful affair, filled with southern hospitality and kindness. The day was relaxed, the large sweeping porches of the Whitford Plantation invited us to rest and enjoy the river flowing close by. Eric and Camry’s love for each other was palpable and everyone basked in the glow of their love. It made this New Bern wedding photographer ‘s heart sing!

Whitford Plantation

Although no longer a wedding venue at the time of this publish, the Whitford Plantation was everything you would want in a wedding venue. Gorgeous, light-filled rooms, stunning landscape, amazing views–what more could you ask for? The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We hope someone buys it and turns it back into a beautiful place for marriages to start. Until then, people can look for a raleigh wedding venue instead.

Camry was a vision in her Davincci gown. Her custom, cathedral-length veil was just so stunning.

I love how Camry and Eric incorporated their love of NC State in every possible way. Both alumni of the school, they had lots of reason to show their school pride!

Stunning bridesmaids gowns were by Alfred Sung. Champagne is a color anyone can wear! And how can you even go wrong with sandals by Jack Rogers??

That necklace from Tiffany & Co was beautiful! And Camry’s solitaire from Diamonds Direct just accentuated her classy personality. Paper goods designed by Blush Paperie set the mood for a swanky Southern affair! That cake by Ali Smith Cakes was so understated elegant! Bless little Bear! He was such a sweet pooch during the entire wedding! It was truly an amazing day, witnessing and capturing Camry & Eric’s love for one another. I hate to play favorites, but this wedding was exactly what I would hope for every couple’s wedding. Beautiful venue, beautiful weather, beautiful light, happy families, supportive bridal party…it was just wonderful. And I can’t complain because I was along the North Carolina coast. Best place in the world to me!
