Josh & Vivienne
Josh & Vivienne’s day was such a beautiful day. I know I say that about every wedding day, but they truly are always beautiful. Even if its raining, a wedding day is beautiful because it is the joining of two hearts and souls forever. And that’s just beautiful to see.
Josh and Vivienne met in college and its truly evident that they were meant to be.
Being from Greensboro, North Carolina, Vivienne would never have met Josh if it weren’t for her interest in Alma College in Michigan. There, she met Josh and the rest is history.
My favorite parts of their wedding is a three-way tie. First on the list was Josh’s reaction to seeing Vivienne walking down the aisle. I love it when grooms get emotional. Not only does it create really raw images, but it gives us all a glimpse of how deep the groom’s feelings are for his bride. Artistically, the couple portraits in Greensboro arboretum were my favorites. Being able to experiment with my film camera while the couple is just cuddling and enjoying being Mr. & Mrs. is just awesome.
Then of course, the mother/son dance is always a favorite time in a wedding for me. After becoming a parent, I just have so much more respect for the emotional process that parents go through at each wedding. Walking your children through such big moments in life is such an honor. I don’t know how parents hold it together, honestly! Seeing a mother and son dancing together makes me think about the day I’ll be dancing with my son on his wedding day. I can’t think about that for too long or I’ll ugly cry haha!
Everyone enjoys a good dance at a wedding or just a laugh watching others dance or at least try to, so it’s a must to make sure you find the right wedding band or dj, I found a great wedding band here at wedding bands Jacksonville that I’ll definitely be recommending to the next lucky couple to get married.
Josh & Vivienne, we wish you all the best on your futures together! We hope you enjoy living in Asheville and hope we get to see you soon!
