There is something about this time of year. The way the sun tilts toward the earth creates the most beautiful light. As a Knoxville family photographer, I absolutely love photographing families this time of year. This session at Ijams Nature Center was exactly what we as photographers dream about. The sweetest family (with the CUTEST son), beautiful warm sunlight, and a perfect setting.

After posting an ad for our Christmas mini sessions supporting our missions trip to Helena, Montana, Amanda saw it and responded. She was so sweet from the first message–I knew immediately we would get to have a lot of fun at their session. She and her husband Anthony, brought along their sweet son and precious pups. What an adorable family they are! We quickly set about to create beautiful images using inspiration from Amanda’s Pinterest board and my own inspiration based on what was unfolding in front of me. I am SUPER excited about the images we got! Little Abbott was so sweet and was the cutest little model, just smiling away at the camera. I couldn’t believe how mature that little guy was, and so well behaved.

Thank you Amanda and Anthony for sharing a little bit of your lives with me. Thank you for the honor of capturing your sweet family and for supporting our missions trip. I am SO excited to see what God is going to do through your sweet Christmas card this year!
