There is something so classic about film photography, the amount of change that has gone on in film does not change the way film photography looks, it always has a classic feel to it, with more and more people taking up the baton because of posts such as https://www.hooliganrocknroll.com/3-ways-that-photography-has-become-easier/ which can be looked at for inspiration. I just love the deep, rich colors you get can get from film. And when I think of classic paired with deep and rich colors, I think of Christmas. When we look back on Christmases past, we see it in a vintage light. Film images our parents took of us in our pajamas, sitting around a glistening tree with brightly colored packages piled high–ah! That’s Christmas! So when sweet Kathy contacted me about photographing her family’s Christmas card photos, I knew I had to use some film. Taking a break from wedding photography and focusing on families is also fun to do this time of year, as you can imagine there is quite a demand for a Family photographer. It is important for people to be able to have tangible memories to cherish, just like a wedding photo. While I do mostly weddings in the Southeast, I’m really excited to move into more Knoxville family photography. After having my son a couple of years ago, I realized how special not just wedding photos can be but precious family photos are. If it’s wedding photography you want (as well as for a range of other occasions) and you’re in New York, you might want to check out the services of this photographer – olgatopchii.com.
Kathy and her daughter Rachele (you may have seen her Hunter Valley Wedding photos) created the perfect look to compliment the vintage truck. I love what they did to fancy up ‘ol Betty. I also love that Kathy and Floyd wanted to incorporate their grandchildren into their mini session. How precious are those sweet little girls?!
I also want to give Nancy at Hunter Valley Farm a huge shout and and thanks for letting us use ” ‘Ol Betty” the truck from Bargers Beer Truck . This vintage truck was perfect for our Christmas mini sessions!
Thank you Kathy and all of your wonderful family for supporting our missions trip to Helena Montana, through Capstone Church. We are so thrilled to be able to use your donation to spread Gospel to those who haven’t yet heard of Christ’s love.
