When I met Dylan and Savannah this past Winter, I knew there was something special about them. But offering Knoxville engagement photography, I run into a lot of great couples, right?! If you read my blog post on the regular, you’re probably thinking “That’s what Katie says about all her couples”. You’re right! They are all special to me 🙂 But I have to say, God blesses me with the most awesome clients that all have these crazy unique stories. And they all love each other like crazy.

Dylan & Savannah just look at each other and giggle, I love it! And scroll through the photos (especially image #2 and #3), just look at how they look at each other! It’s just the sweetest.

These two are really juggling life right now too. Balancing work, school, church, and an engaged relationship isn’t easy, but they lean on each other for support to get through it. That’s what a lot of marriage is all about. They are well on their way to crafting a beautiful marriage.

I also want to take a minute and talk about how gorgeous film photography is! If y’all saw the digital images from this shoot, you’d be amazed at how much softer this look is. Even though I do everything I can while shooting digital to get this look, you just can’t get this look using a digital camera. I used to tell people, when they would ask me if I shoot film, “well, I shoot and edit to look like film with my digital camera”. And it’s true! I was giving it my absolute best shot. But after shooting just over a year with my film camera, I can definitely say even on my best day, I could not get this exact look on film. Maybe in my next blog, I’ll show comparison images.
